About Us
ElecMarine Innovations was founded by Peter Sheridan in 2006 and provides marine electrical, mechanical and rigging services to the Adelaide Region. You’ll usually find us at the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia, Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron and Holdfast Shores Marina.
The ElecMarine team has over 40 years of experience in the electrical and marine industry. We service a wide range of craft from Trailerable Recreational boats, Cruising and Racing Yachts, Luxury Pleasure Craft and Commercial.
Our mobile ElecMarine Team can Supply, Install, Service and Maintain all Marine Electrical Systems and Components by our fully accredited and Licenced Technicians.
ElecMarine also offers Complete Marine Management of your vessel from maintenance schedules to refit project management, we can guide you through the complete maintenance and refit of your vessel from planning to commissioning and handover.
We work with trusted marine electrical products to provide our customers with the best solutions, offering installation and service of Garmin, Raymarine, B&G, and Simrad marine instruments.

Qualifications:
- Electrician, Lift, Elevator & Crane Electronic and Mechanical fitter over 20 years
- Marine Electrician with expertise in all instrument brands such as Garmin, Raymarine, B&G and Simrad
- Management and servicing of Racing Yachts and Leisure Craft for over 15 years.
Silas Nolan
Director – Technician
Qualifications:
- Systems Electrician
- RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
- Elements of Shipboard Safety
- Long Range Radio Operator
Background:
- Professional Sailor since 2007 racing in Elite Grand Prix Circuits around the world. In classes from 40ftrs through TP52’s, Volvo 70’s, Maxi 72’s, Super Maxis and Super Yachts.
- 17 Sydney to Hobart Races – 1st in 2011 and 2nd in 2012 with Loki
- Multiple winner of numerous ocean races including Caribbean 600, Newport to Bermuda, Fastnet Race, Middle Sea Race, Hong Kong – Vietnam and China Sea Ocean Races.
- TP52 Super Series in Europe with Ran Racing 2015 – 2017, 3rd overall in the TP52 Super Series 2016.
- Puma Volvo Ocean Racing Team member in 2010.
- Locally project-managed the build of racing yacht ‘Concubine’ – a Mills 45 at the Cruising Yacht Club of SA. Also manage the team.
